Field Paint
The CVPL is pleased to announce we are now finalizing our plans for the CVPL 2004 season. This season will have more teams, more divisions, more fields, and more prizes. While the final plans are still being completed, here is what I can provide to you so far.
This season the CVPL was able to include three additional fields in the series. The 2004 season will include tournaments at Splat Brothers Paintball, Soggie Bottom Paintball, Powerline Paintball, TMX Paintball, Action Town Paintball, and Splat Brothers Powhattan.
All events will be played on airball, hyperball, or speedball concept fields.
We decided to stick with the 3 man format again this year; however we have added an additional division for players with less experience. The divisions and qualifications are:
Division A - Any team with more than one player who has two seasons or more of tournament experience and has not played as a pro player during the previous 12 months. Team qualifications are at the discretion of the CVPL. If you are not sure where your team will play please contact us.
Division B - Any team where the members have less than two seasons of tournament experience. A team may only have one player that has two seasons or more of tournament experience and that player cannot have played as a pro player during the previous 12 months. A team in this division may have only one player from any team that placed 1st through 4th at any CVPL event last year and that team cannot have any other players with two seasons or more of tournament experience. No team that placed 1st through 4th in any CVPL event last year can play in this division. Team qualifications are at the discretion of the CVPL. If you are not sure where your team will play please contact us.
The CVPL is a field paint only event. National Paintball Supply will once again be sponsoring the CVPL by providing a portion of our prize package and supplying the teams with top quality tournament paint. Diablo Blaze and Draxxus Inferno will be available at every event. Blaze will be sold at $55 per case and Inferno will be sold for $60 per case. This is $10 per case less than paint cost last year.
The entry fees for each event are as follows and depend on the division you are competing in:
Division A - $150 entry fee plus a $30 air fee. A minimum of 3 cases of paint must be purchased per event.
Division B - $90 entry fee plus a $30 air fee. A minimum of 2 cases of paint must be purchased per event.
The CVPL has also brought push button air fills to the series this year. No more boosters or cascading tanks. Just hook up your HPA tank, hit the button and you are done. This will eliminate any potential fill lines at every event.
When you enter a team into a CVPL event you must be registered no later than 5:00pm the Friday before the tournament. No registrations will be accepted the day of the event and funds must be paid in full by the registration deadline. There will be no exceptions made for any team not registered and paid in full by the cutoff. Credit card payments will once again be accepted through this website or you will have the option to mail the registration information and payments to the CVPL.
Check in at each event will run from 8:00am - 9:00am with the captain’s meeting held shortly after 9:00am. Every team is guaranteed a 5 game minimum.
The dates for every event are below. These dates are tentative based on the 2004 NPPL/PSP schedules.
